December has been a slow month for news. I guess because I’m not writing anymore and not doing any book signings. Plus, I haven’t seen any new reviews. The month is coming to a close and so is 2009. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has read A Rose to the Fallen and liked it enough to send me emails and leave reviews and comments on various book sites, my blog, and MySpace. I truly appreciate it and I’m glad people are enjoying Tristan & Bridget’s love story. I’m still surprised when people tell me my book is their favorite. I even have some Tristan fangirls which is really amazing. A Rose to the Fallen has been released for a year now and it’s been wonderful meeting so many readers online. I don’t have any updates right now, but I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has left me reviews on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Shelfari, and Goodreads. I read all of them and I truly appreciate anyone taking the time to share their thoughts and feelings about my book. I’m a new author so reviews are important to me because I like to get a sense of people’s different opinions. I’m still waiting for reviews from a few websites, and I’m hoping they’re positive so I can post them here. I’m so happy that most of you enjoy A Rose to the Fallen. A lot of you said you couldn’t put the book down and it’s one of your favorites. To hear you say that means a lot to me because for my book to be anyone’s favorite is the best compliment I could ever receive. My debut novel has reached its half-year mark, and I hope more people enjoy Tristan & Bridget’s love story before this year is over and for time to come. Thanks again! ♥

I posted a new review from Bitten by Books. They gave A Rose to the Fallen 3 out of 5 tomb stones. After reading it, I consider it a fair review. The reviewer did have issues with the book, but she mentioned aspects that she enjoyed. I’m happy to know that the story entranced her, and she became obsessed with my characters. But I’ve said it before that reviews are just opinions, and I’ve received varied ones. The best way to judge a book is always to read it yourself.
