I received a wonderful review from The Romance Reviews for my novel A Rose to the Fallen. They named it a Top Pick. The reviewer Maria Rya loved the story and gave it 5 stars! I’m glad she enjoyed my book so much. I’ve updated the Reviews page with a snippet from her review and added their Top Pick button to the sidebar.

I just thought I’d mention this because I see some people visiting my site after searching for “the howling heart goodreads”. The book is not on Goodreads because it’s not published. You won’t find many reviews. I mentioned a couple on my blog, but other than that, there is no central place to read them.

Since The Howling Heart is unpublished and not an official book, I can’t send it to book review sites. But I’m happy some of my readers have blogs and post book reviews. I think I have my first review from Fallen in books. The admin, Simina, doesn’t usually post her reviews in English, but she did for mine which I appreciate. She gave The Howling Heart 5 out of 5! I’m so glad she enjoyed my novel and took the time to tell people about it. Thanks again, Simina!

I have to give a big shout out and THANK YOU to a young woman I met on deviantART named Signe. She read The Howling Heart and gave it an awesome review. It’s her new favorite book. I’ve said before that’s one of the ultimate compliments I can get from a reader. I appreciate her spreading the word about my book. I also saw that she posted about The Howling Heart on a Facebook fanpage for Alex Pettyfer. I told her if my second novel ever gets published in print, I will mail her a free signed copy. I don’t care that she lives in Denmark. The postage would be worth it. Thanks again, Signe!

I think it’s about time for another reader shout-out. This one goes out to Sarah, a very nice young woman I met on deviantART. She recently read some of my stories, the latest one being The Howling Heart. She gave it an amazing review! She loved the whole story and said it’s tied for the best novel ever! When someone says my work is the “best novel”, it’s the ultimate compliment. It’s right up there with “favorite book”. I already thanked her on dA, but I feel she deserves another one. Her review really made my day.

Night Owl Reviews gave 3.5 stars to Eros, My Love. According to their ratings, a 3.5 means ‘Enjoyable’. I especially like this line in the review: “…it’s a fast read, a quick kiss just before bed!” I’m glad they liked my short story because they gave my first novel A Rose to the Fallen 5 stars and made it a Top Pick. Actually…they reviewed it twice! Two different reviewers read the story. I want to send thanks to Erona Diane Hill for giving Eros, My Love a great review.

I recently read this long and nasty review for A Rose to the Fallen on Amazon. I had to respond because I don’t appreciate people spewing lies about me. I don’t care if some people don’t like me, my attitude, my actions, or my book. That’s why I don’t usually blog about my critics. If I cared enough about their negative opinion, I would give them my attention. When you’re an author, you put yourself out there to be judged by people. You can judge me and my work… but don’t tell disparaging lies about me because if I read about it… I WILL call you out on your bullshit. Get your FACTS straight BEFORE you state your opinion, otherwise you sound like a fucking idiot. My website exists so people can know about me, what I’m doing, what I’ve done, and my work. It would do my critics good to actually read it before they start talking out of their asses.

I’m so glad she emphasized the fact that my book is Adult because some people are under the wrong impression it’s Young Adult.
