I have great news to share today. I just accepted an offer from Decadent Publishing to publish my second short story Panties Optional. I’m so excited! They currently have a book called Panties Optional by Stephanie Beck, so I decided to change my story’s title to Right Here, Right Now. As I mentioned in a previous post, this is my last short story. Now, my second novel The Howling Heart is all I have left to get published.
I’ve only written two stand-alone, erotic romance short stories. I recently sold one to Summerhouse Publishing, and I have one on my hard drive. I’m not writing anymore, so this is the last story I haven’t put through a real publishing attempt—meaning, I haven’t queried numerous publishers to see if anyone is interested. I figured I would try now instead of letting it collect dust on my hard drive. This is the first story I’ve written that’s purely a contemporary romance; there’s no supernatural element involved. The title is called Panties Optional. You can read an excerpt after the jump.
Tall, blond, and stunning, Thayer Jørgensen is a Norwegian expat and every fashion designer’s wet dream. His latest modeling assignment in New York City comes to an end, but his flight is canceled and he won’t make it home to California to celebrate his 25th birthday with his girlfriend.
Pippa loves her boyfriend too much to let him wallow alone in misery, and she’s determined to make his birthday special with a sexy surprise he’ll never forget. She travels across the country and appears at his hotel room in a naughty French maid costume. A game of seduction ensues, but Thayer quickly turns the tables when he notices she forgot to wear panties. He decides a spanking is in order, making Pippa realize no good deed goes unpunished.
