I just read a blog entry on Tumblr from a reader in Canada who goes by “A Written Tragedy”. She spoke about her experience trying to get my book A Rose to the Fallen. I guess it’s hard to find in Canada, but one of her friends from the US surprised her on her birthday with the book. She was very excited to receive it, “bouncing around my kitchen like a kid… and completely freaking out,” she said. I wanted to give her a shout-out because she said getting A Rose to the Fallen was one of the best birthday gifts ever, she enjoyed the story, and it’s her favorite book. Plus, her reaction to finally getting the book made me laugh. A Written Tragedy, if you read this… thank you for your support by spreading the word about my book and I’m so happy you had a chance to read it. It’s the ultimate compliment whenever anyone says my book is their favorite because there’s a lot of books out there and some stiff competition. I feel honored knowing A Rose to the Fallen made it to the top of someone’s list.
This evening I did an interview with Vampire Books.ca. The website showcases vampire, werewolf, shapeshifter, paranormal romance, and fantasy books. You can read my latest interview by clicking the link in the Interviews section on my site. Thank you Vampiress for interviewing me and helping me promote my work.

Last week I mailed Lucas Buchwald a copy of A Rose to the Fallen. He emailed me today and said he received it, and he sent me some pictures of himself with the book. He was very excited to finally get the book, and I have to admit the feeling is mutual. Seeing his pics has been one of the best things to come from my book publishing experience. It’s almost unreal to see him holding my book with his face on the cover. I never thought I’d meet Lucas online, but I’m so happy I did. He’s a real sweetheart and has a great sense of humor. He told me he can’t wait to read the book and he’s curious about Tristan’s character. I told him I hope he’s able to relate to Tristan in some way, and judging by his pics, he already has Tristan’s style. I was surprised when he told me he likes motorcycles just like Tristan, but he prefers a black Ducati over Tristan’s green Kawasaki. I can’t disagree with him on that. Ducati’s are hot! I’m so glad I chose Lucas to represent my British bad-boy.
